How the practice score works
Reading and listening items
One answer is full marks or zero. Several answers score +1 or −1 and never go below zero. Re-order scores adjacent pairs. Each blank is one point. Listening uses a script because there is no audio file.
Writing
A summary must be one sentence of 5–75 words. An essay is checked for 200–300 words. An email is checked for 50–120 words. Grammar and ideas are not auto-graded. An admin can add a content mark later.
Speaking
Read, repeat, describe, or respond, then type what you said so the attempt is kept. Short answers are marked against the accepted words. Delivery is not given a fake pronunciation score.
